Omar S. Nashashibi, Founding Partner, The Franklin Partnership, LLC

Omar S. Nashashibi is a Founding Partner with The Franklin Partnership, a bipartisan lobbying and strategic consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Having worked in the nation’s capital for over twenty years, Mr. Nashashibi lobbies the White House and Congress on behalf of manufacturing companies, associations, clean energy companies, municipalities, and other interests. He works with policymakers on trade, taxes, environmental and workplace regulations, job training and identifying grants and funding to support projects.

James Simonelli, Executive Director, California Metals Coalition

For 25 years James Simonelli has represented the state’s metalworking sector, which consists of 3,000 businesses employing over 350,000 Californians.
From 1997 to 2012 he served as the organization’s chief lobbyist, authoring several pieces of legislation into law. At the state Capitol, he is co-Chair of Sacramento’s WATER Coalition, and operates two metals industry storm water compliance groups for the metals industry.
